Cropping and Editing

I have used an early portrait of Lincoln, before his iconic beard. I’ve simply adjusted the cropping so that it is merely a head and shoulders shot, and then I’ve adjusted the contrast to give a slight change in the dramatic nature of the shot. The photo’s source is the Library of Congress, and more information on the image can be found on their website.

My edited photo follows.
